TROUBLE: New Studio Album To Surface In Early 2005
May 16, 2004Rick Wartell, guitarist for the reunited Chicago doom legends TROUBLE, has posted the following message on the group's official web site:
"Hey, how the hell ya doin'? Just wanted to give you an update on where we are at this point. [Singer] Eric [Wagner] is in [San Francisco] with [producer] Vinny [Wojno] remixing the unplugged CD. We know it's taking awhile, but it is finally sounding great and that is the most important thing. It should be out in July 2004. Also, we are planning to re-release the 'Trouble' & 'Skull' CDs sometime this year (November). The live DVD we shot in Stockholm is being sent to Vinny for mix, so that, too, will come out in 2004. [The new studio album] 'Seven' is going to be recorded late summer early fall slated for an early 2005 release. We also added some new merch to the store. A re-release of the 1985 'Skull' shirt (we stole it from Eric's trunk) and a brand new one unofficially known as the skate shirt. Hope you enjoy them. Talk to ya, Rick."
